ABOUT US

"Bilim Üsküdar" emerged to unite science and scientific thinking across all layers of society. It is an educational center that aims to not only bring scientific developments to society but also to teach the systematics of scientific thinking starting from an early age.

Targeting all age groups, especially at the primary and secondary education levels, the center aspires to be a significant focal point that encourages scientific, rational, inquisitive, exploratory, critical, and experiential thinking. Bilim Üsküdar was established to connect individuals with diverse backgrounds and age groups with the world of science, making science and technology understandable and accessible to society.

Intending to enhance the importance and value of science and technology in society's eyes, "Bilim Üsküdar" plans to offer dynamic environments that actively engage visitors, encouraging them to experiment and explore through hands-on, experimental activities. In this context, the goal is to equip individuals with the ability to approach daily events from a scientific perspective and enhance their skills in productive thinking.

Bilim Üsküdar not only provides visitors with exhibitions and workshops they can actively explore, touch, experiment with, and create but also dynamic settings that encompass children's play areas, open offices, a library, a cafeteria, and social events.

ORIGINAL CONTENT

We provide hands-on workshop education with original content in five different areas, including Astronomy, Aviation and Space, Technology, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for elementary and secondary school students.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
The show hall, where an artificial representation of the sun, stars, planets, and other celestial bodies is projected onto the dome-shaped ceiling with the help of a special reflector, boasts a 14-meter diameter and high-resolution quality, making it the best planetarium in our country. "Bilim Üsküdar Planetarium," brought to life as a complementary element to many educational experiences in the field of Space and Astronomy, promises visitors a unique day with all these features.

It consists of seven interactive main exhibition areas with the themes of Communication, Robotics, Automotive, Finance, Aerospace and Space, Energy, Natural Sciences, and Medical Technologies.
